Profhilo

Profhilo remodels the patient’s skin by encouraging the stimulation of four different types of collagen and elastin through the slow release of Hyaluronic Acid). Hyaluronic Acid is a substance naturally found in the body, however, the levels in which it is produced decreases with age. Therefore, this ‘stimulation’ in the skin leads to an improvement in the appearance of the skin’s appearance and causes tightening and lifting effect.

Profhilo has also been clinically proven to have a positive effect on facial volume. It has also been proven to improve hydration and elasticity in the skin, therefore offering a variety of benefits for the patient.

The product is injected in the superficial subcutaneous layer of the skin. In some case, topical anaesthetic can be applied to numb the area before the product is injected.

Profhilo is typically used on:

Aging tissue

Acne and acne scaring

Loss of adipose tissue

Compromised adipose tissue.

Two sessions of Profhilo are advised to receive the maximum results, 4 weeks are recommended between each session.
