It is safe and effective for every skin type and is totally pain free, in fact, most of our patients look forward to the treatment, using it as a real chance to be tranquil and completely relax, with peace of mind, the treatment offers no risk of trauma or photosensitivity. A suitable laser option all year round and throughout pregnancy.
It’s one of only a handful of treatments that can be done on skin with active acne, even if it’s cystic. In fact, the device does have a significant clearing effect on acne and can be used safely alongside topical or oral prescription acne medicine like isotretinoin to reduce side effects like photosensitivity, redness and irritation.
The Byonik® treatment can be had daily, however, most patients have a session every 2-4 weeks, dependent upon advice from their Skin Specialist or ESHO. Associate and current skin concerns.
One treatment has clinically proved effects within the skin for up to 1 month post-treatment. As all layers of the skin and cells within those layers are effected, you can expect to see an improvement in the skin immediately, up to 1 month post-treatment, heightened of course, with more regular sessions following.
