CULTSKIN® Lab is a 12 month subscription service which entitles the patient to one advanced skin treatment every month for a year!

Lip filler, also known as lip augmentation, refers to adding shape and volume to the lip. This is achieved by injecting dermal filler along the lip border and also into the body of the lip until the patient’s desired outcome is achieved.

Lip Augmentation FAQs

CULTSKIN® are committed to minimising any discomfort which may be felt during the lip augmentation procedure. A fine needle is used, and local anaesthetic can be given in the form of:

  • Topical cream
  • Special dental blocks to completely numb areas to make pain free
  • Anaesthetic is also combined within the filler product

The lips may show small swelling initially, but this usually subsides within 48 hours.

Lip augmentation results typically last six months but can last up to last eight months depending on the patient.

Lip filler results can be noticed immediately and ‘plumping’ of the lips is instant. Minimal swelling, bruising, and reddening may appear, but this should fade quite quickly and is temporary. The patient’s results will be assessed at their review appointment which is typically two to three weeks following the procedure.
