Botox® injections at The ESHO Clinic are quick, safe and simple. Botox is injected in small amounts under the skin. This causes wrinkles to fade overtime and lines to become smoother resulting in the texture of the skin appearing younger.

Botox® FAQs

Botox® is produced from a toxin that is derived from the bacterium clostridium botulinum. It is injected in small amounts under the skin to target the muscles and temporarily restrict their movement. This allows the overlying skin to repair, resulting in a smooth and more youthful appearance.

The ESHO Clinic uses anti-wrinkle injections to treat the following areas:

  • Forehead
  • Frown area
  • Crow’s area (eyes)
  • Masseters
  • Chin
  • Hyperhidrosis

Results can be noticed as soon as 2-3 days after Botox® treatments. The full effects of the anti-wrinkle injections will be visible after two weeks. The ESHO Clinic offers a review appointment two to three weeks after the patient’s treatment to assess the results of the anti-wrinkle injections.

Botox® injections typically last for several months (3 – 6 months) This does vary patient to patient.

Yes, there are many products on the market that do the same as Botox treatments. Azzulure is another form of Botulinum toxin type A that is also used at The ESHO Clinic.
